Pablo Mosteiro, from our team, will give a talk on “How (not?) to Use Large Language Models” at the upcoming symposium “The Human Factor in Emerging Technologies.”
Additional information and the registration form are provided below.
Symposium: The Human Factor in Emerging Technologies
The rise of new technologies, particularly Artificial Intelligence (AI), is having a profound impact on nearly all aspects of society and human behavior. From industry to healthcare, from education to social interactions, these technologies are changing the way we live, work, and communicate. The profound impact of emerging technologies necessitates new research that safeguards the human factor in the world of tomorrow. Many FSBS researchers are currently investigating this intricate relation between humans and technology, albeit in different disciplines and departments. Our symposium aims to bring together our many colleagues involved in this research to share their newest insights and inspire new collaborations on this societal challenge.
You are cordially invited to our symposium on December 4th at the Faculty Room in the Langeveld building, from 1 to 5 p.m. Besides our three invited speakers (Isabelle van der Vegt, Pablo Mosteiro, and Leendert van Maanen), we also invite our colleagues (PhD students, Post Docs, PIs,…) to present their ongoing projects. The symposium will be closed with drinks.
